What is a solar park?

A solar park groups solar projects around shared infrastructure. MNRE describes facilities such as transmission connections, roads, water, drainage and communications. A project within a park still needs its own clearly defined generation scope and contractual interfaces. The term does not by itself establish that a particular site has land rights, approved connectivity or available capacity.

Choose the right enquiry route

A project developer needs an assessment of land, grid interfaces, plant design, execution scope and operations. An industrial electricity buyer needs a procurement assessment based on consumption and its drawal point. Define the scope before comparing proposals

Request a responsibility matrix covering land preparation, modules and inverters, civil works, pooling infrastructure, evacuation, metering, testing and operations. Identify exclusions and dependencies in each proposal. Compare generation assumptions at the same contractual delivery point, with losses, availability assumptions and any curtailment provisions stated consistently.

Information for an initial assessment

Provide the location, proposed AC and DC capacities, land information, current connectivity status, intended offtake route and target commissioning date. Where power will serve an industrial facility, include electricity bills, interval consumption, sanctioned demand and the drawal location. A requested start date is an input to diligence, not a delivery commitment.

Does a solar park automatically qualify for open-access supply?

No. The generation project, grid connection, industrial buyer and applicable state requirements must be assessed together. A park location alone does not establish the buyer’s eligibility or the cost of delivered electricity.

Is GH2 Solar offering a government-approved park or subsidy here?

This page invites project assessments. It does not assert that a site is approved under an MNRE scheme or that financial assistance is available. Any such claim requires project-specific approval evidence and current scheme verification.
