GH2 Solar is committed to a zero-harm workplace culture. Our HSSE policy mandates that health, safety, security, and environmental protection are integral to every project phase — from design through decommissioning. We hold all employees, contractors, and visitors to the same safety standards, and we do not compromise on safety for schedule or cost objectives.
GH2 Solar's operations and project delivery systems are aligned with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management). We maintain site-specific HSSE plans, emergency response procedures, and incident investigation protocols for all EPC and O&M projects.
Hydrogen is a flammable, colourless, and odourless gas requiring specific safety protocols. GH2 Solar designs hydrogen facilities in compliance with OISD-179, PESO regulations, and IEC 60079 (hazardous area classification). On-site controls include continuous H₂ gas detection, ATEX-rated electrical equipment, explosion-proof ventilation, and trained emergency response teams with SCBA equipment.
GH2 Solar conducts environmental impact assessments (EIA) for all applicable project categories and implements site-specific environmental management plans. Our commitments include zero liquid discharge (ZLD) for water-intensive processes, responsible lye (KOH) handling and recycling, minimisation of land disturbance, protection of local biodiversity, and transparent ESG reporting aligned with GRI standards.
Yes. All contractors and subcontractors undergo a pre-qualification safety assessment before being mobilised on any GH2 Solar project. Regular site safety audits, toolbox talks, permit-to-work enforcement, and behaviour-based safety (BBS) observations are standard elements of our construction HSSE programme. Contractors with unacceptable safety performance are removed from site.
