
GH2 Solar Ltd. Announces Joint Venture with AHES
Mr. Anurag Jain, Founder & CEO of GH2 Solar Ltd., shared exciting news about a strategic partnership with South Korea’s Advanced Hydrogen Energy Solutions (AHES). On March 12, 2025, both companies signed a Shareholders’ Agreement at the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office, aiming to revolutionize India’s green hydrogen sector.
GH2 AHES: Pioneering Electrolyzer Manufacturing in India
- Phase 1: Establishment of a state-of-the-art electrolyzer manufacturing facility in India.
- Technology: Utilization of eco-friendly, cost-effective non-precious metal catalysts, replacing expensive platinum and iridium.
- Production Capacity: 105 MW of electrolyzers annually for the next 5 years under the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, supported by a ₹147 crore subsidy.
Strategic Investment and Skill Development
- Investment: GH2 Solar Ltd., in partnership with Rhizome Energy, is investing $20 million in the joint venture.
- Employment: Focus on local talent and alignment with the Indian government’s skill development initiatives to enhance employment opportunities.
